Community Counselling CIC was set up as Wellington Counselling CIC and we have updated our name to reflect our growth, which also means we are recruiting.

If you would like to get involved with our work as a non-executive director, counsellor or to volunteer as a trainee counsellor, please see our latest vacancies below.

Non-Executive Directors

It is our mission to make counselling available for anyone who needs it, when they need it, putting individual and community wellbeing at the heart of what we do and how we do it.

We are now recruiting Non-Executive Directors to support the growth of our Community Counselling Services.

Here at Community Counselling Cic we have recently celebrated our six-year anniversary, having delivered counselling sessions to almost 900 people.

In this time we are proud that we have grown our services.  Our trading and grant income has increased and our offer of free and affordable counselling has been extended to more people, responding quickly to provide support when and where it is needed.

Whilst our journey began in Wellington, people from neighbouring areas began to reach out for support. Through the replication of our successful community counselling model we have expanded, and this year we changed our name, to better encompass all the communities with whom we work.

We are looking forward to our future growth and development so we can reach even more people who need help.

We are inviting motivated and passionate people to join our vision for:

“a community where wellness is possible for everyone, wherever they are”

If you are as passionate as we are about helping people to achieve good mental health and wellbeing we would love to hear from you.
