Grant updates

We thank all our funders for their unwavering support for helping the townspeople with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

2023

In February Wellington Town Council agreed to renew the Service Level Agreement for another 3 years. This enables us to deliver 348 hours of counselling per year to people who live in Wellington. This fund enables us to offer affordable and free counselling to those who most need it.

Somerset West and Taunton ‘Children and Youth Initiative’ awarded us £3000 to deliver 60 hours of counselling to young people in Wellington.

Taunton Women’s Aid awarded us £10,800 to support victims of domestic abuse in Wellington and the surrounding area. This means we can offer 216 hours of counselling this year to adults and the children of adults who are victims of domestic abuse.

Thanks to the success of a funding application to the People’s Postcode Lottery we are so glad to be able to offer free counselling to children and young people In Wellington and across the county of Somerset who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access support. The grant will help us provide this support for one year. If you know someone who you think would benefit from counselling make a referral now. This grant can offer online counselling if we haven’t got a counsellor in your area.
